ffs!!! google adsense doesn;t send you any money! it says you do but you dont. Also, it just asks for ur name so it can send the money, so how can it send money just to ur name? probably hundreds of people have the same name. Its not real money, it's just numbers on a screen

many fail sites do not have a level 2 domain name (yourname.com) and they dont use any metatags. then they complain for not getting traffic. :P

Yes - the 1% who ever make money (online or otherwise) can be further broken down into 1) 90% lying cheating stealing, no ethics - as that is what all business majors are trained and programmed to do, with no hard work and no innovation, except benefitting from the hard work of others 2) 9% good dumb luck with no hard work or real innovation 3) 1% actually due to their own hard work and creativity. Lisa here may fall into that 1% of 1%.

Thanks for the info. Google recently ASKED ME to join ADSENSE. Considering how few views I get it's been working quite well... people are clicking on ads. Who knew? So now I'm trying to figure out how to make it make some serious money. I don't have to do anything but continue to create content and Google seems to want to help me make money from it. Excellent. Shove the money under my door.

damn, i'd really like to make money like a businessman or something, and if it were possible to make money online, i'd like to do that. but i just think that there is a very high percentage that doesn't matter how much effort I will put into it, for some strange reason, I will get very very little money. maybe it is possible for a smart person to succeed, or maybe it is all about luck, or maybe it's all about lying and cheating and playing dirty when it comes to online money making

Dont get roped into adsense scams All of sites offering "Secrets to wealth" programmes are pretty much universally scams, the information is freely available online so dont pay stupid money for it - they always seem like nice guys but they are all the same. if they were doing so well as they always claim they woudnt be online scamming people

@londoniscool2009 People are still making plenty of money with AdSense. But I do believe you should diversify your portfolio. It's only one of many ways I earn money online. But as you said, people need to learn to drive traffic to their sites first then they will discover that making money is not as challenging once you have the visitors.

@MrValthor This makes no sense. Google AdSense is FREE. If you paid to join AdSense then yes, you were ripped off but not by Google. I've never paid Google a single dime. You should be careful and make sure you check and double check to see who is taking your money. Google AdSense is FREE. I want people to know that. There are a lot of scams out here making people think they are affiliated with Google and they are NOT!
